Membership
Membership in Local 611 is obtained in two ways. The first is by requesting and completing a membership application and being voted in by a majority of the members attending one of our regularly scheduled meetings. Residency in the jurisdiction for the previous 18 months is required.
The second way to obtain membership in Local 611 is by securing employment on a job holding an I.A.T.S.E. collective bargaining agreement within Local 611's jurisdiction, and maintaining that employment for 30 days. Upon 30 days of completed employment you will be offered membership in the Local, provided you meet the residency, skill and financial requirements.

Once added to the dispatch system, on Mondays, call or text 831-704-6110, or email dispatch@iatse611.org with your name, contact number, and your availability for that week and in general.
Everyone on a call is expected to be on site with proper tools and completely ready to begin working at the call’s start time. This generally means arriving 10 to 15 minutes early to ensure you are able to meet this requirement. Parking, pre-work coffee, etc., are to be done on your time so you can be ready to work when the start time comes.
Proper work attire and hygiene are also required. Stage blacks will suffice for most calls. Please note that much of our work is at venues that require a black collared shirt (ie polo) and have a NO JEANS rule. Black paratrooper/work type pants are acceptable.
Bring any tools that are may be needed for your assigned position. If you’re not clear what you need to bring, or attire, please contact dispatch/job steward.
